"Con un pensionado ta yena su dia" or "How a retired person fills his day" / by painting
Born in San Nicolas (Aruba) in the former Lago Hospital on 2 November 1941.
At the age of 14 Robert enrolled in a correspondence drawing-course at the 'Ecole A.B.C. de Dessin' in Paris, situated at the Camps Elysees in the Rue Lincoln. Three Years later he took the exam and passed as a commercial artist, which he practiced for just a short while.
In 1958 Robert already exhibited oeuvre for the first time at the Curacao Museum, together with eight other local painters.
Early 1968 Robert has taken part in a group-exhibition, organized by the CCA (Aruba Cultural Center).
His latest exhibition took place April 2014 at the Biblioteca Nacional di Aruba.
